I've donwloaded updater, when I run the tool I find L09 C900 but not find B182

New Beta version now support custom ROM url, which can make it generally usable.

WARNING:
FLASH FIRMWARE MAY CLEAR ALL FILES IN YOUR DEVICES. IF POSSIBLE, DO A BACKUP FIRST.
USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK, I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY BROKEN RELATED TO IT.

How to:
1. Select the firmware you want, from left to right are Hardware version, Customize version and Build Version.

2. Press [Start]

3. Set proxy of your phone or Huawei HiSuite to your computer's IP Address (For HiSuite you can use 127.0.0.1) and 41279 as port.

4. Refresh update info
(You can change the proxy settings back, after the download button pressed.)

5. When you finished your update, click [Stop] button and close it.

Tips: Don't forget to restore the proxy settings of your phone or HiSuite after flash firmware to avoid any possible internet connection issue.

If you want the phone do an OTA, you need to set the proxy on the phone, not HiSuite.

Set proxy on HiSuite, use HiSuite.
Set proxy on Phone, use Phone.

Long press on your wifi in Settings - Wifi, Change Network and thick in box Show Advance Settings and scroll down.

The problem that i can't find the downloaded files and hwouc folder.
When the download finished i have installed file explorer to search for the downloaded files but i couldn't find any,not sure where the updater store this files.

Were you able to use the "Huawei updater" to update Mate 9? Can't seem to make it work. Thanks.

There is an application "firmware finder"on playstore, that can update mate 9 only if the firmwares are signed by huawei.

Does "Firmware finder" update the BUILD NUMBER? I read for some users after the update the build number stayed the same.

Hi I have a EVA-L09C436B150 fw on a Vodafone Australia P9. Can I flash EVA-L09C436 using this software as its pretty close?? or will this brick?

I was able to solve the problem. I use a different link on the updater. Try to use this link in Huawei Updater Custom ROM URL http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1256/g104/v73917/f1 then on Custom ROM Version put EVA-L19C636B361

As long as the model of your P9 is the same on what I posted then yes you can. But if your device is not EVA-L19C636 then you can't use it.

Wow thanks! What did you do to prepare your phone? Back up? Unlock bootloader, install twrp? Or did you just go for the updater right away?

I just back up my phone using the Huawei software. Then follow the steps for the updater and use the link I provided. No need to unlock the bootloader or install twrp since I want to keep my warranty intact. However, take note that there is no rollback firmware release yet for the P9 EVA-L19C636 to revert from Nougat to MM. Also Huawei have not confirm if this is already the official so this version still be considered as Beta version.
