I just read on other thread that the updater doesn't support ota only full package update. So I'll just wait for my ota update. Thanks! As long as the model of your P9 is the same on what I posted then yes you can. But if your device is not EVA-L19C636 then you can't use it.
Actually I read that too. However, I tried different links for the full pacakage on the updater all of them failed the only one that works for me is the one I posted. And it seems that it is a link an OTA after I upgraded I didn't lose anything it kept my apps, messages, and other files intact. But on the safe side I made a backup. Now I am running Nougat straight upgrade from B190. To add I check the UPDATE App file it downloaded under dload folder and its about 2.8 GB.I just read on other thread that the updater doesn't support ota only full package update. You can rebrand ur phone to other customization, but you need unlocked bootloader and root to do this.Hello, I have the model EVA-L09C521B140.
It has a custom ROM from my carrier (MOVISTAR Perú, Latin America)
I'm wondering if I can flash it with an unbranded stock ROM and how can I do it?
I want 100% stock. Not really interested in root/custom recovery at the moment.
Can I do that?
Also, I don't really care if the latest OFFICIAL release is MM or Nougat. I don't want to be using beta builds.
Thank you. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The bloatware and SPECIALLY the intro video form my carrier every time I power on the device is driving me insane.
Great. No problem. You can rebrand ur phone to other customization, but you need unlocked bootloader and root to do this.
After rebranding your phone will be like original with locked bootloader and without root and you will get official ota.
Browse little in the forum to find the tool and firmwares.
Great. No problem.
Would you mind pointing me to the direction of a tutorial. Or anything that I could read to learn how to do that? (First time with a huawei phone, second day only)
Thanks!
Thank you.Browse little in the forum to find the tool and firmwares.
You need srk tool and watch this video it's for mate 8 but same procedure, just use firmwares for ur model.
Rebrand to l09c432b1xxThank you.
I'll watch it and try to read something about the tool and procedure.
That's for unlocking and rooting right? What happens after that? Which cust should I use instead of c521. And lastly, I was planning on using this tool to install the stock rom. Would that work?
Appreciate your help.
Thank you.Rebrand to l09c432b1xx
Install stock rom using "dload" method.
Don't use nougat firmwares,just marshmallow emui 4.1.1
Watch the video and you will understand the steps.
You can put the dload folder on the root of ur internal storage and yes you can revert back to ur firmware same way by rebranding.Thank you.
Two more questions and that's it.
Why c432 and not c605 (which would apply for my region since I'm in Latin America)? Is it because the European open market ROM is more up to date? (C432B182 against C605B135) or because of other reasons?
And, is there a way to backup the cust and ROM I have right now? (in case I need to send it in to the carrier for any reason) If so, how?
Thanks again for all your help guys. This is what I hate about getting a new phone... You need to re-learn everything from scratch
*EDIT* Update. Watched the video, read about the tools and procedures. Got everything on my PC and I'm getting ready as we speak to go ahead with the procedure. One last thing before I do... Can I install the firmware with Huawei Updater instead of with the dload method? Cause I don't have a microSD. I guess I could get one if I really needed it, but being able to update with this tool would make things so much easier.
Also, I'd like to backup my current carrier branded ROM. Just in case. Can I do that?
Thanks again.
I can't seem to be able to find my "original" firmware. The ones on the app (great app btw) are all OTA.You can put the dload folder on the root of ur internal storage and yes you can revert back to ur firmware same way by rebranding.
There is an application on playstore "firmware finder" you can download any rom you want.
If your in c900 the only way is to debrandI don't really understand how to use this, i'm trying to go back to C432, i'm currently on C900 and it sucks, would this help.? tell me the steps to take, i'm no where close to nougat.
Download any keyboard apk file and push it to your phone trough adb maybe that will workThis was my last hope I bricked my device by trying to unlock the bootloader, now i can't connect to my WiFi because the only was I can Connect to it is to use the google voice keyboard but it doesn t work with passwords, does anyone have an idea how to get back to the stock keyboard?
I already tried to factory reset, flash the firmware new.. but nothing helps.![]()
If you want I have the C605 cust original... Revisa mi blog www.pregunteleamauro.comI can't seem to be able to find my "original" firmware. The ones on the app (great app btw) are all OTA.
Also, havibg the same cust means it comea with all the pre-installed crap from my carrier (including the stupid boot logo)?
Thanks once again. I really appreciate you taking the time to help a bro out.
