Huawei P9 [ROM][Android 6.0][EMUI 4.1.1][based on European Firmware] RENOVATIO

Magic-Rainbow Rom is based on Android 7.0 Firmware b383.
I don't know - b220 is Android 6?
You must be on Android 7 for installing Magic-Rainbow
It cannot be flashed with Android 6 Bootloader.

There's a Nougat Firmware for EVA-L19 C185B385 - this one should work with Fingerprint Scanner (I think) - but not higher versions or less.

C185B220 is stock MM. If I go back to it, it will show an update to C185B385, which I think is Nougat. Can you flash Magic Rainbow from B385?

Although, I have to say that I'm really hesitating because previous bad experience of going up to Nougat but couldn't rollback. The rollback page from Huawei didn't really work, so I was stuck with Nougat.

Camera is important to me. So, is the camera app on Magic Rainbow the original Huawei camera app?

I suddenly have a problem with BT car pairing. You know there is a window which appears on the phone where you enter "0000" to connect? That window closes immediately, so I do not have time to enter "0000". It happens again if I repeat the paring process: that small window opens and closes in a second. I used to be able to pair with my car without any problems. I'm not sure what happened.

I am also not sure. Its a known issue, sometimes it occurs on Huawei Phones.
May you delete inside Bluetooth settings the pairing and start it not from car device but from p9

Its written for P8, but it's the same on P9. May you try it without Huawei Beam (I am on Nougat now and cannot check)

Since I don't have this problem when I freshly install the rom, I suspect that it's one of the apps that messes up thing, but I have no desire to go through these apps one by one to find out which one is the guilty party. If the guide doesn't work, I'll just re-install the rom.

The rom works great, by the way, and that's the reason why I'm not upgrading to Nougat.

Thanks You can also try to disable inside Atmos/Dolby and Viper the functions (if enabled) - maybe this makes conflicts with Bluetooth Audio connections

Sorry for late answer - this Rom is based on European Firmware and NewWorld was based on Chinese Firmware...

Have you already tried Renovatio now?

TWRP Link is okay, you must open this Site with Browser, not with Download Manager - it's Android Filehost.
From there you can download this TWRP.
Don't use newer TWRP for Nougat!
It can't work in Android 6 and would brick your phone.
Only use my TWRP for this Rom

On your internal Storage is a folder with name TWRP. Delete this folder. After reflash TWRP. (but do it with ADB and not Flashify) Boot to TWRP allow system modification and configure settings.
Try if Backup works then without error. If not remove in system settings SD from phone.
Shutdown Phone. Open slot for Micro-SD. With Adapter copy all Files from SD into a Backup folder on PC.
Format SD Card with exFat. Copy files back and do SD again in your phone.
With Root Explorer go to /data/system/dropbox and delete the log files in it.
Try TWRP Backup again.
If same error occurs - go in TWRP to Advanced and copy TWRP Log to external SD. Send me then this file

To enable Notifications on Lockscreen you must use Magazine Lock if you change Themes

Hi, I think I'm ready to give Magic Rainbow a try, although I've been pretty happy with Renovatio. As was said here earlier, if I go back to stock and then from there upgrade to B385, I should be able to flash MR v2, right?

Also, the Rollback Package that you mentioned above, what is it and can you post a link? You mention in your MR v2 forum that the dload method will be removed soon. If I want to rollback in the future, will it still be possible?
