I went to the Bahamas for vacation and during the trip there was a place with 90% humidity. After returning from the deck of the cruise ship to my room I tried to charge my GN. It wouldn't... I removed the battery, replaced it and tried again. After the 5th or 6th try it began to charge. The next day I had to turn the phone off for it to charge. Later that day even that wouldn't work. It's been hit or miss for the past 5 days. As soon as I got back I called Verizon to replace it under warranty. They agreed and a semi-new 100 and something point inspection phone is on it's way. I've put stock 4.0.2 back on the device from a nandroid backup that I made as soon as I unlocked it. But now... Here comes my question... How can I re-lock it with the usb/charging connection being hit or miss? I connect the device to my computer, sometimes it recognizes the device, sometimes not. I've been able to have it recognize the connection twice but when the toolkit I'm using puts the phone into fastboot there goes my usb connection so it can't re-lock. Any suggestions would be great. Trying to avoid having to argue with Verizon or Asurion about the Magnuson-Moss Waranty Act because there was nothing I did to make the phone act that way. I mean there were thousands of other people that were using cell phones on the boat that had no problems. Thanks for the open ear guys.
