Hypothetical Which would be a better bargain? 5 or 3T

when the 5 comes out and if the 3T gets discounted.. which is the better bargain buy?

The current 3T is selling for $439 and assuming a $50 discount bringing it to $380 and that the 5 will go for $539, a $100 more. Which would be a better bargain buy?

Well I just sold my 3T for $435 which I purchased on launch date for $479. If I can sell my more than six-month old device for nearly purchase price and buy the new flagship, it's a no brainer. The answer to your question will depend on how much the OP5 ends up costing and how much the market shifts. Normally, it should have shifted already but I guess supply/demand and uncertainty has caused the price to remain extremely high for the 3T. Great for me anyways!

Other last-gen devices like the G5 would be possibly better bargain buys. I recently bought a G5 for $150 and in absolute mint condition.
