Hello good afternoon, I need your help. I bought a Xiaomi mix fold 2 smartphone some time ago, and I'm having some problems with it, for example, every time I need to reset the factory settings, every time I authorize it to make a backup copy, precisely In order not to lose anything, it happens that it always disappears after I format the equipment. Can anyone tell me what's going on? And why is this happening? For me this is not normal, because when we make a backup precisely to avoid losing anything, the cell phone, even after being formatted, had the obligation to save all the data, precisely to avoid wasting hours and hours configuring it all over again , just click on the restore option. Well, at least that's how it always worked with my other smartphones. Please someone help me understand this, because I'm a little confused. Best regards

Whatever the backup, Micloud or third-party apps, the file must be transferred to a PC or cloud to be able to restore it after the factory reset.
The question is will I also be able to transfer the entire file to a pen and restore it from there, after having already completed the training or will I only be able to do it via the computer?

Always keep more than one backup copy preferably at least 2 on hdds that are physically and electronically isolated from each other and the PC. Otherwise one near lightning strike could destroy them all.

Best to organize your data and then copy/paste folders then verify for size and readability.
Never encrypt backup drives as you are the one most likely to get locked out.
Never clone (copy only) drives with media data on them. Cloning can destroy needed nulls in the media data.
