I boxed new phone only to be greeted with a knackered camera

Opened the box on my new s4 i9505, after playing around with it for ten mins, tried camera only to be greeted with a black screen with unresponsive button and a message every now and then saying camera failed, any ideas or know of it happening before.
Tried hard reset
Re flashed software

Stumped now I am

Get it all the time in repairs on the previous versions and almost always its hardware (camera module)
I;d get a replacement

I had the same issue. Was intermittent but still I missed photo opertunitys due to it. Called EE and is being replaced
