Google Pixel 3
I have all updates to Windows 10 and Phone. Sometimes Windows will recognize something exists but keeps installing ACER Composite ADB Interface. Still does not recognize it as a drive or in file explorer. I am using the last stock Google ROM available.

I have the exact same problem as the original poster! And i have it with 3 different Pixel 3. So it must be either somthing with Android for Pixel3 or Windows10. I am completely despaired, because i tried everything.

What i can summarize:

Google Nexus5X connects as expected and is fully accesible (by adb or windows).
Google Pixel 4 connects as expected and is fully accesible (by adb or windows).
Google Pixel 7 connects as expected and is fully accesible (by adb or windows).

But each of my three Pixel3 is not even recognized by Windows (they are just loading battery) or show the USB Connection notification?!

All have stock Android (two have Android 11, one has the latest Android 12, but also with the latest Version it doesn´t work)!

What could be the f**** problem?!

Of course. But meanwhile i think that maybe it is really a kind of defect of the phones USB-C port.

If i connect the Pixel 3 to the computer, there is no USB-connection menu on the phone (as it isn't when you connect to a socket).

But it's very annoying that obviously Pixel 3 tend to this kind of defect.

I just hope (for backup purposes) that i can manage to establish a ADB connection by wifi.
