I'm gonna go to Verizon today and use this code and I'm also thinking about taking my S3 down to best buy and getting a few things with the credit I'll get over what Verizon would give me! These trade-in values by Verizon are RIDICULOUS compared to Best Buy!
That's kind of bull****. I traded in my 32gb USCC SGS3 to best buy (I work there) and I only was able to get $168 tradein value.

Well, when did u trade it in? Because those listed trade-in values have been steadily decreasing for the last several months since around the time the S4 came out. I remember right when the S4 came out, I was VERRRYYY close to trading in my Verizon S3 at Best Buy and getting the S4 with our upgrade that we've had on our account for what seems like FOREVER. Lol I just never did get the S4 because I had too much goin on in my life and getting a new phone was wayyyy down on my priority list.. but. , Best Buy WAS offering a trade-in value of $235 back in the spring time and it's been steadily decreasing every month or so since the S4 finally hit the shelves. I wish these different trade-in values didn't decrease with the market on these phones, cuz then I'd be makin a cool $235 on my S3.. =/ oh well, I'm glad I held out and waited for the Note 3, because it's no fun being "stuck" with a phone that you're really not totally satisfied with 2 years while waiting for that next upgrade...

Crap I originally went to the Verizon store and tried to have them process my order with the verizon30 code but it did not work. It said the code was valid but would take no money off the price of the phone. So I said screw it I will do it from home. I tried for 2 hours to get the website to let me pick it up at the store but it kept failing at address validation. Was on the phone WITH CSR for over an hour and they could not figure it out. We tried like 5 different addresses and it kept failing. Finally got my order to go through but had to have it shipped to my house. Needless to say I paid $210 so I'm happy but sure would have been cool to get it cheaper.

I bought it yesterday and traded in my SGS3 32gb then. I think the difference is that yours was Verizon and mine was uscellular, though the actual parts are 100% the same.

The sales guy forgot to give me the paper receipt so I looked on My Verizon. I paid $89 for the phone. $30 to activate and $12.99 for screen protectors. Nice!

It worked for me as a price match at Best Buy. All I did was show them the pictures of others receipts. BOOM! Loving this phone.

This did not work for me. First I went to the stores main customer service and asked if the manager could price match the Note 3 with the receipts I printed off from this thread. Customer service told me that the store manager was willing to do it but it would have to be cleared through the mobile manager as they are a somehow a separate department. The mobile manager looked up this receipt in their database and did not know how such a good deal was obtained. Regardless, he would not give me the deal and said that a receipt from another Best Buy does not fall under Best Buy price match policy. However, he did leave me with the official duplicate of the receipt he printed off and so I am going to try and see if Staples, Walmart or Radioshack will price match this receipt.

Try yourself and see; maybe you'll get lucky.

Uhh yes price match does as long as the other store shows up in our system with a lower price. I work at bestbuy. Read the policy it's public info at any bestbuy

Did not work for me. They wanted to see a flyer or ad with that price. :(

So in theory, I could just go in there with the invoice number posted earlier to Best Buy, and they would have to honor that price for me as well?
If you bought it at one best buy, and then noticed another best buy selling something for cheaper, bring in your reciepts and they can do an adjustment to it.

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Global/Low-Price-Guarantee/pcmcat290300050002.c?id=pcmcat290300050002

We will match prices between our stores and BestBuy.com®. We will also match prices post purchase if we lower our price within 15 days of your purchase.

The Guarantee is limited to one price match per identical item, per guest and does not apply to: Contract mobile phones sold by any online retailer, the online prices of retailers not listed, the online prices of third party vendors (Marketplace vendors) on designated major online retailers websites, post purchase price match requests to competitor's prices, Best Buy for Business™, offers that include financing, gift card offers, bundling of items, free items, pricing errors, mail-in offers, coupon offers, competitor's service prices, items that are advertised as limited-quantity, out of stock, open-box, clearance, refurbished/used items, our and our competitor's Deal of the Day, daily deals, special hour sale event items and credit card offers, BestBuy.com Clearance & More and Marketplace items, and items for sale Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving.
As long as it doesn't fall under those other things, you're good. If it doesn't and they refuse to honor you, then that manager doesn't know ****.

ways this wouldn't work:

-verizon30 code getting the phone for cheap wont work
-buying it off craigslist
-buying it off a third party on a major retailer's marketplace
-coupons to bring down the price, pricing errors, shelf displays of deleted items, mail in rebate reductions, etc
