I guess its bricked, HELP PLEASE!!

I was flashing 2.6.32.61-nAa-jb-06 kernel so that i can flash JB mini....after flashing the kernel via flashtools, i turned it on (felt the vibe) but nothing came on the screen,, the screen was on i could make that out...i left it for few minutes but nothing happened so i restarted it again....again nothing on the screen so i decided to flash it agian....This time while selecting the kernel file i think instead of selecting the x8 kernel i selected x10 kernel which was already there i dont know how...flashed it thinking its the same file and now it doesnt even turn on, no response on charge also....PLEASE HELP ME!!!

you hard bricked it, flashing a wrong kernel can lead to that case, you need to send it to the nearby service center, afaik

That's not good...
But before you're sending it to a service center, try this:
1. Download the Soný Ericsson Update Service (often called SEUS) from here: http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/
2. Boot X8 into fastboot mode (holding back button, if you can't do that, it's really bricked :/)
3. Follow the SEUS instructions

if he flashed the x10 kernel, it's a hard brick. and step 3 isn't going to work if it's bricked like step 2 stated.

hey I once got my phone bricked flashing wrong rom to stock n I thought I have to throw it ... but I did repair with sony companion .. but after many trials because my phone was not getting detected in flashmode n phone was not getting on also.. so try that first.. all the best

what you had was a bootloop. not a hard brick. there is no way to revive a hard bricked phone using pcc, seus, or flashtool.

so i guess there is no way to repair a hard bricked phone at home... I have to send it to the service centre...I would be very thankful if anyone can tell how much money it will take to repair....

yes i was using gingerdx :/ everything is so simple on my defy stupid flashtool! :/
