I have a LG V20 F800S (SKT) and I need HELP with rooting

I know many XDA developers will say it is not possible, etc but I came across some user who has rooted my model successfully via the DirtySanta method, so I gave it a try and after 4 attempts later (LG UP issues, Downgrading issues, ADB issues, etc (all solved)) I got stuck in STEP 6 (In dirtySanta tutorial) where you had to flash "bootbackup.img". ADB will display as cannot open "error" so abandoning STEP 6, I started to cold sweat and carefully decided to reboot the device into homescreen (Just to make sure that my phone is still alive) and as usual, during the booting up sequence, it displayed a "device is corrupted" screen and booted in and as soon as I see my stock LG lockscreen, a orange full screen popped up saying "Find the Phone Owner!" and nothing besides emergency calls, I saw some videos who came across this screen but they had an alternative option called "UNLOCK", I had no such options like that. So I got scared and decided to boot my phone into download mode to flash stock KDZ but first I was not expecting a static screen in download mode but I successfully connected my phone to LG UP and also successfully flashed it back to stock meaning that I lost all my progress but I saved my phone... Please, if any developers are out there reading this (which I *wish*), please help me or us (who has the same model) to taste and feel the sweetness of being ROOTED.

By the way, I never tried to root a device "manually" so I am quite a newbie.

So you have to flash it with stock F800"L"?
Is there no turn back after this?

Found the problem
I successfully went through flashing the boot2.img but now... after I reboot it, I get a secure start up screen... OMFG why is LG doing this to me?!

Sounds like you forgot to format data in twrp

Sent from my LG-H910 using XDA Labs
Oh... that might be the problem and also do know the "Find the owner!" screen? someone said that if you delete the "findmyphone" file it will work but do you know where the file is?
thanks by the way

What do you need help on?
the "find the phone owner!" one?, if that's the problem, get into TWRP recovery and first Mount/system then, go back and Advanced/File explorer/System/Priv-app and find the folder that might say, "findmyphone" or something similar to that and all you have to do is DELETE that folder! TaDa!

I flashed the stock F800L ROM to my F800L, but still had no access to bootloader/fastboot.
Is that normal?
Is your method: Flash F800L, then use Dirty Santa root method ?
