Maybe needs device first activated in China/Taiwan? Maybe needs IP here? Maybe needs to be registered on the account to China or Taiwan?
How did you contact them with the issue? No sorry, I don't want to bother them with multiple issue at once... and since the issue that all incoming calls show 'unknown number' bothers me the most I contacted them for it. I had to record some logs and send it to them.. And after 2,5 weeks or so, they told me my issue should be fixed in the next update... (fingers crossed)... Both on word on fixing any other issues..
The phone is bought from tradingshenzhen, they already installed google play store on the phone. So it has been turned on in China for the first time... I tried with VPN (China) and I have registered a Vivo account.... But it will get here eventually... Just trying to understand how it works...Maybe needs device first activated in China/Taiwan? I found an emailadress of Vivo Hongkong (<[email protected]>) and they forwarded my issue to the correct department and that department contacted me via email: <[email protected]>
Yes, could be.. too bad I cannot find any software updates to download. There is a local update option, but I was only able to download some split firmwares, which I cannot use with the local update option...Well my vivo account is linked to taiwanese phone number and country. Maybe that's a difference?
Thanks for this. I guess any users who have bugs and issues can drop an email to these addressesI found an emailadress of Vivo Hongkong (<[email protected]>) and they forwarded my issue to the correct department and that department contacted me via email: <[email protected]>
I would certainly try...^_^Thanks for this. I guess any users who have bugs and issues can drop an email to these addresses
Are you interested in selling the phone ? I will pay 100$ more than what you paid. Just to never see you again on this forum .Has anyone actually tested if it supports wifi -6e?
I guess vivo saved money and didn't use fast connect 7800 modem. Or actually it pretty surely doesn't because we miss ANT+ (or has someone access to the service menu meaning managed to install vivo service 1.5 first) and that's part of 7800.
However if we have the cheaper 6900 we still should have wi-fi 6e, but it's not mentioned anywhere so maybe the poor 4G/5G battery life is due to Vivo using some cheap Chinese modem instead?
So far only Xiaomi 13 pro and galaxy s23U are confirmed to having fastfonnect 7800 (and WiFi 7 support).
Battery life seems to only be a issue for you. I'm on 5 hours SOT, 74% battery remaining with 1 day 19 hours without chargeHas anyone actually tested if it supports wifi -6e?

Everything he ever said here , except notifications , are problems only he hasBattery life seems to only be a issue for you. I'm on 5 hours SOT, 74% battery remaining with 1 day 19 hours without charge
Completly wrong and you know it. My first huge problem was google wallet not working - I found out the reason and posted it but it cost me a day (who would have thought you get mismatches on google service with play store due to the vivo appstore having outdated versions and google play not able to update the component).Everything he ever said here , except notifications , are problems only he has![]()
Fully agree. Also on telegram or other forums people have an average usage of 8,5h SOT.Battery life seems to only be a issue for you. I'm on 5 hours SOT, 74% battery remaining with 1 day 19 hours without charge
I'm currently testing on 60hz + FHD, I expect around 12 hours SOTFully agree. Also on telegram or other forums people have an average usage of 8,5h SOT.
Oh wow that's wouldn't be worth it for me. I can't stand 60hz since I had the op 7t with 90hzI'm currently testing on 60hz + FHD, I expect around 12 hours SOT

How on earth is it possible to still contradict everybody here ? Ive seen at least 5 dudes here , including me , who own the phone , telling you that they ( we) dont have any battery issue . You keep talking about this days later . Than you got issues with camera , os , modems , call loudness , updates + thousands more issues . You definately got some issues with the phone . Either you are a troll , either you got a defective unit . But id put all my money on the first variant if i would make a bet.Completly wrong and you know it. Battery life I've given many reviews as example - so I am far from alone. Even here on the forum others don't get over 6-7 hours SOT with 24h standby. But yeah it seems to be fine as long as you use Wifi all the time. One hour surfing on wifi 6% battery vs 10% on 4G - and 15% on 5G for me. That's just ridiculous if we would have fastconnect 7800 which claims to save 30-50% battery vs previous modems by Qualcomm. It's actually sure we don't have the 7800 because nowhere anyone claims wifi 7 compatibility (unlike Xiaomi 13 Pro/S23U). That leaves the possibility we have the 6900 fastconnect - which is quite likely because the X90 Pro+ supports some Qualcom proprietary bluetooth standards, but would mean we actually have wifi 6e too. Vivo just says Wifi 6.
The older qualcom modems only had Bluetooth 5.2. So most likely it has the Fastconect 6900 and the older X65 and not X70 modem and first appeared on the SD 8 Gen 1. Or actually maybe even not a Qualcomm modem at all. Its surely Fastconnect 6900 and not 7800 however (else they would advertise Wifi 7 - but so that means we actually have Wifi 6e)
There is no prohoem wirh notifications when you are following my guide a few coents above. I grt ebery notifications I want even when in battery saver mode.
I filmed singing my daughter and a friend, at 4K 60fps, low light. There is no voice enhancer feature (or I have not found it), Youtube is still procesing 4K video for now:Hey, could someone owning x90PP provide me few video footage in 4k30fps in original quality? Also, if there's a some voice enhancer feature. Can you make me one video with voice enhancer on and off? Thank you so much!
