Just put him on the ignore list. You won't even see his posts anymore only when you click on them. Works fine, check my screenshot.

I'm OK to hear legit criticism, but it does seem quite exaggerated - if not genuine, what is his angle? Why spend so much time convincing us the phone is useless?
Exactly . Legit criticism its more than welcome . That dude write long texts here basically saying nothing every single time . Literally every single person owning the phone told him they got no clue about what he is talking about . And he keeps going , going and going. If im not mistaken i think its against the forum rules aswell . But well , im grateful for the ignore setting .

That will not work without google maps being a system app as far as I know. Same as google assistant (conversation and hotword). So they will never fix this on a Chinese phone.
Small bug that happened now already a couple of times when I try to delete an email in Gmail.
Instead of deleting the mail a window pops up that tells me about the running background services.
Clicking on got it and again delete just has the window pop up again. This didn't happen before the trial version from February.
Fix it by closing Gmail in the app drawer and re opening it. It's basically that the delete button is in the same position as the running services in the draw down drawer - so some window overlap problem?
Edit: Actually I think some other apps may have problems clicking in that are too. Had again a problem in a forum where I could not open a menu with the button in that area - however just would not react instead of opening the running apps menu. Top right corner of phone, all other areas never problematic. Doesn't happen all the time, maybe 1 out of 10 clicks in that area. Enough to notice.

although there is "optimized the compatibility of some third party apps" so maybe it's that? Can't test at the moment, but we'll see.

13.0.18.3 is just released apparently....I've not gotten it though.... (keep checking every 10 minutes... ^_^)
I'm running that already for a week i think. That's not new to me.
It got release via trial a week ago and I today I read for the first time someone got it officially.... I'm still on 13.0.18.2 though..
What seems weird is that the version has the letter B after the model number (PD_2227B)... my version has the letter C (PD_2227C) in the software version... anyone has an idea what this letter means ?
I think it was trial but I'm not sure anymore. The buildnumber is exactly the same. I think the update was like 170mb.
I think I've seen some people having PD_2227A as well. No idea what it means though, but it looks like A, B and C don't get the updates at the same time.
Hmm that's interesting. I have a V2227A device with 2227B software.
Since the only difference is in storage size (there only is the China model) could it be that the B or C indicates the storage size ? Mine is a C and it is 512 gb.. could a B mean 256 gb ?
Well that's something I have also thought about. My device is V2227A and has 256GB
Mmm, never though to look at the modelnumber in 'about phone'...... I have 2227A device with 2227C software... so I guess that means the letter does not say anything about storage size...

6Another email from Vivo, the notification fix update is incoming. I mentioned the battery life just for the sake of it & they said they'll forward that to the correct team . Battery life is of course good but I'm sure we can all agree it has potential for further improvement, considering the phone has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.6
There is no prohoem wirh notifications when you are following my guide a few coents above. I grt ebery notifications I want even when in battery saver mode.
Well Im using my x90pro plus since Friday and the battery is brilliant. 2 days now and im left with 13% right now. Bluetooth on, huawei watch connected, Bluetooth headset connected for 8hrs a day, gps on, nfc on. All this while heavy usage making photos and so on. im blown away by this performance never had such a good battery life.4
I filmed singing my daughter and a friend, at 4K 60fps, low light. There is no voice enhancer feature (or I have not found it), Youtube is still procesing 4K video for now:
