No mention of any fix for notifications in latest update's changelog..

although there is "optimized the compatibility of some third party apps" so maybe it's that? Can't test at the moment, but we'll see.

I got the update too, it was around 130mb. Let's see if notifications work. If they don't, I'll have to email them again

I doubt that since its the same version I'm already running for a week. Its probably fixed in the next version.

That version was compiled on 14. January btw.. that's a really slow roll out (but maybe due to CNY). I also have B with 256GB size.

So seems legit that B is for 256 and C for 512 (I ordered 256 but got 512 from tradingshenzhen, apparently the send 512 if 256 is out of stock). Does anyone with C already have the update...???

Seems like overall model number for the vivo x90 pro plus is V2227A and we have B_A firmware for the 256GB variant and C_A firmware for the 512gb variant. And there is no A_A firmware since there are two variants only. Color surely doesn't matter.

The power draw on charger is much higher than Xiaomi 13...
Battery scores not accessible yet. But then they do not include 4g/5g so will be pretty good. But s23U will be another level very likely

S23 battery life tests are already out. It's pretty much on par with the iPhone 14 pro max

I know, the X90 Pro+ is far away from iphone 14 pro max levels. Quite hard to understand why because it should do better for it's hardware but so far in any test near the bottom for 8gen2 devices with ltpo display. Yeah OnePlus 11 is very bottom...

S23u got around 20 hours for continuous websurfing....

So far no direct comparison but s23u was always on top vs other 8gen2 devices.

And yeah don't compare with 8gen1 - those phones are all bad for battery life.

Crazy power draw vs Xiaomi 13/13pro
Maybe those with rose glasses will understand sometimes that Vivo got it wrong... Any comparison to other 8gen2 it looks bad , yeah except OnePlus 11 that botched up so hard it competes with 8gen1 devices...
Can Vivo fix it? Because this should be a 10 hours DoT device not 7....

I bet s23U will score 91-93 percent vs 89.4 from x90pro+ overall.

They said the next system upgrade will address the notification issue. However, this was after the release of the beta update which became official today. No time path unfortunately
