Me too... But still all my incoming phone calls show 'unknown number'..
Is everyone facing this "unknown number" issue ? That's quite irritating if that's the case. Is it because some essential app has been removed?Me too... But still all my incoming phone calls show 'unknown number'..
Already sent an email to vivo support. Also the sim card was not found after the reboot. I had to eject and re-insert the sim tray. After that the sim-card is found.
As far as I know I'm the only one.. and yes it is super annoying. It also happened directly after a factory reset, and I assume a factory reset will enable all factory apps with their factory settings again... Sim-card works fine in another phone.. So it should be the phone/software itself I guessIs everyone facing this "unknown number" issue ? That's quite irritating if that's the case. Is it because some essential app has been removed?
That's a very weird bug. I never had that bug to begin with. Does the same thing happen even when a saved contact rings you? Or only for unsaved numbers ?Me too... But still all my incoming phone calls show 'unknown number'..

Both... If an unsaved number calls, you should see a number, but I only see 'Unknown Number'. If I disable VOLTE (by manually selecting gsm/edge mode via *#*#4634#*#*) the incoming call DOES show a number. But then I'm using edge (which is very very slow). So if I want to use my mobile data connection, I need to switch back to 4g. Very annoying.. I read a lot of topics from xiaomi users who have the same issue. Incoming 'unknown number' calls if VOLTE is enabled, which is solved by disabling VOLTE. Unfortunately on my phone the option to disable VOLTE is missing from the simcard settings menu. So now I disable it by forcing the phone to use the edge/2g data connection...That's a very weird bug. I never had that bug to begin with. How do I get the this service menu ? I already tried so many menu's ^_^Try going into the service menu, there is somewhere a long list of network types you can enable or disable
For now I was able to disable VOLTE and now I get phonenumbers/names on incoming calls with 4G enabled...I'm not sure which one it was, something similar to 5568 but just try all from hard reset . info
you are truly dumb, if you care so little about the details in a $1000 phone why don't YOU go and buy a midranger for 300 instead of bothering someone that is offering valuable criticism? Imagine paying this much only to use it like you would with a Redmi. At first reach extremecarver's level of madness . Then we will talk .
x90 pro plus its the best phone i ever had . And i had many flagships . End of story .you are truly dumb, if you care so little about the details in a $1000 phone why don't YOU go and buy a midranger for 300 instead of bothering someone that is offering valuable criticism? That‘s at some point not VALUABLE criticism, but we get your point.you are truly dumb, if you care so little about the details in a $1000 phone why don't YOU go and buy a midranger for 300 instead of bothering someone that is offering valuable criticism? I love OriginOS personally, and some of the issues don't arise from the device being chinese. for example the standby is indeed bad as @extremecarver said looking at gsmarena's review of the regular x90 pro. 94h of endurance rating is worse than the small s23 with 3900mAh, guys. you have no issues with that, which is a bit questionable considering how much you paid for the device. this is super below average for a 2023 flagship. That‘s at some point not VALUABLE criticism, but we get your point.
This phone is (obviously) made for the china market, so why should we „foreigners“ critize something?
It‘s like going on holiday to Egypt and saying „damn it‘s too hot here, cant they change the climate?? I paid so much!!“
You probably made your research before buying, take it or leave it.
If you use gesture navigation then just swipe and hold from the bottom of the screen then it will show recent apps menu for you. Click X to close all.Does anyone know how to close all running apps at background with one swipe, I had Huawei before and when I press home button all running apps were visible, is anything similar in Vivo x90 pro plus?

There is no prohoem wirh notifications when you are following my guide a few coents above. I grt ebery notifications I want even when in battery saver mode.
I filmed singing my daughter and a friend, at 4K 60fps, low light. There is no voice enhancer feature (or I have not found it), Youtube is still procesing 4K video for now:Hey, could someone owning x90PP provide me few video footage in 4k30fps in original quality? Also, if there's a some voice enhancer feature. Can you make me one video with voice enhancer on and off? Thank you so much!
Are you interested in selling the phone ? I will pay 100$ more than what you paid. Just to never see you again on this forum .Has anyone actually tested if it supports wifi -6e?
I guess vivo saved money and didn't use fast connect 7800 modem. Or actually it pretty surely doesn't because we miss ANT+ (or has someone access to the service menu meaning managed to install vivo service 1.5 first) and that's part of 7800.
However if we have the cheaper 6900 we still should have wi-fi 6e, but it's not mentioned anywhere so maybe the poor 4G/5G battery life is due to Vivo using some cheap Chinese modem instead?
So far only Xiaomi 13 pro and galaxy s23U are confirmed to having fastfonnect 7800 (and WiFi 7 support).
