I've had a similar situation happen with my Aria on CM7. The battery would die out in less than an hour, and the battery would get warmer than usual. I couldn't figure out the problem, so I just did a fresh install of CM7 and that did the trick.

If you're up for it, maybe you should do the same and wipe everything and do a fresh install of CM9, maybe even switch to CM10 while you're at it.

Do you have a spare battery you can try out? It's probably just a bad battery.

I had this problem too(heating part,battery good 7hr).
But it got "magically" fixed when I opened uo the device to fix the mic(which I failed to do), but upon re assembling, the heating issue went away.
But still dont OC over 787ish to play safe.

Why are SMARTphones soo... Freaking Dumb?
