Yes I totally agree on the section this should be under. Besides a stolen phone, what about a hack on a spouse's phone? Or a borrowed phone? Can't you bypass frp and get into files and folders? And have authentication codes sent to the device via text? Banking, email etc.Frp is more of a pain the it is worth really. Let me explain. When a device is stolen frp means very little. The average theft follows this setup.
1. Steal phone
2. Turn device off
3. Remove Sim card
4. Reset device formatting all partitions
5. Reboot device.
5a. If still locked the flash stock image formatting all data.
5b. Sell device to shop that will flash it and change the imei
6. Done.
This is normally completed with in a 30 min or faster (if they are a pro).
As for charging for it. Well I don't agree with charging for anything like this. Be it root, s-off, bootloader unlock ect. We have a paid section in xda. Mugjt be better placed there.
It just sounds like a recipe for a hackers dream. But on someone else's device. Now I'm sure there are many legitimate users out there that got beat too so I won't be too judgmental. But it just feels wrong on many levels to me. That's why I thought XDA rules were being skirted. But I've come to a Zen moment and do let it go. [emoji6]
