Can you two girls stop arguing. No one gives a shiznit if the dude is on contract or not. Jesus Christ.

You really came in here and said that.... The argument was entertaining to me, you didn't have to read it. I guess you don't care, but there was some decent information there, even though it had very little relation to the OP.

Everything about your post is offensive. I'm not a female, there ARE people that care (believe it or not, your opinions do not reflect the opinions of the majority of people), and on top of everything your going to use the Lord's name in vein? If you have some constructive criticism to say, you should learn to do so tastefully.

i also think the next program is ripoff.only upside is that you can upgrade every 12 month without any problems like cancel service and try to sell you device on craiglist(u can get killed on craiglist) and start a new service.the next program is for average users, not for people that read xda or engadget like i am.i usually sell my old on ebay and buy new phone on ebay to hold me over until im ready to upgrade again.
both of you are correct in you own way.if you draw a 6 and both of standing each side, one will see 6 and other will see 9.still both of you are correct in your spot.

Me too. I think they both are right at there own spot. But I rather sign 2 years contract and pay ETF than going with NEXT.

You should not put xda and engadget on the same sentence... people will get mad... ;)

The best option is to buy the Note 3 on Tmobile if your credit history allows you to get the uncarrier 24 months free financing and then cancel the service and use an ATT prepaid MVNO if you don't like Tmobile network, because it has all the att and tmobile bands available. You will save a lot of money and get a real unlocked phone (bootloader included) that will make your life easier if you plan to use custom roms in the near future, when samsung/att stop support. A real unlocked phone also maintains its value better than a locked one.
Let's hope that some genius over here finds way to bypass the BL and Knox BS.

I ordered my note 3 almost a month ago to the day. I called At&t today and with some convincing, I got my free galaxy tab. It should ship within the next day or so :)

If you use 5GB/month, AT&T's prepaid smartphone plan is $90/month (plus tax). In contrast, by getting my Note 3 from AT&T, I pay $65/month for AT&T "unlimited" LTE data (actually 5GB before throttling).

The approach you advocate may be less expensive for some people, but it is not the best choice for everyone.
