I just purchased my tab from costco and I had a problem...
They subsidized my tablet without my asking for it as such. In fact, I don't even think the guy realized he did it.
Long story short I call Verizon after noticing I was under contract, during the conversation I notice a 200 discount for the phone being subsidized.
At this point I become upset, partly because I did not want the subsidy, and partly because in my rush to buy my tabs I did not check the receipt before I left Costco....
And I was pretty upset too....
Until I notice above the contract term beginning and ending dates this little bit of text...
Early Termination Fee: Up to $175
Yes, that is right, the termination fee is LESS than the bloody subsidy. There is bad news though... the 35$ activation fee requires you to keep your 3g activated for at least 12 weeks.
