I probably uninstalled a system app that makes the phone not detect the sim card.

I have a rooted redmi note 7 pro with miui 11 running. In my infinite wisdom i decided to uninstal the miui dialer app (because it kept showing block called logs despite me setting it up not to do so). However I must have uninstalled something else (i remember uninstalling two or three systems apps) and now the phone shows "sim card error" and reboots to twrp recovery. Is there any way to fix this without flashing the Miui rom all over again?

PS: I can call the phone and the ring goes but nothing shows up.

What method did u used to "uninstall"?
Can they be uninstalled or just disabled?


You could use Startup Manager app from Aptoide now and check it.

just dirty flash same ROM version which is installed in phone via recovery and you are good to go.

Dirty flash MIUI 11 using the MiFlash tool or through the recovery, that should restore functionality.
Nope there's no other way, all of them end in you flashing MIUI again. Use a PC app like ADB FASTBOOT TOOLS (open source)to remove system apps safely...
