Now I want to delete it and switch to lineage, but it doesn't work, since once I click on "Recovery" in the bootloader mode it says
" Invalid boot image size!
failed to validate recovery image" instead of getting to TWRP
I tried installing TWRP via adb and got stuck on <waiting for device>

check device manager when it's in bootloader mode

Tried it. It doesn't recognize it. It is under "other devices" and not saying "Moto G", but "falcon fastboot S". I am not sure if this is supposed to be like this. I also cannot access the storage.

Install Motorola usb drivers

reboot pc

Boot phone into Fastboot/bootloader mode.
Device Manager should list it as something like
ADB Interface
if not you need to manually select the correct driver
