I RE-MAPPED THE JOVI BUTTON on my Chinese NEX

I tried to use Nova launcher to open assistant but it won't show up, any setting I need to turn on in order to make Google assistant work properly?

It's the stupid wisdom engine....it's so dam agressive that I suspect no matter what toggles are thrown, it's AI will eventually make a decision on your behalf that Remapper requests are not what you want.

Let this all be a warning to us as to how AI will make decisions for us..thank.god its not our food supply yet. :silly:

I've had the same issue and it's the Accessability settings switching back off - another user has also reported the same issue here.

Whether it's some sort of 'AI' optimisation that is working as designed, an inadvertent side effect of some sort of overly strict security settings or a outright bug, is unclear.
But it's a total pain, regardless.

Try remove com.vivo.pem in adb shell. No app stop after removing this.

It is Vivo battery management app .
You could still manage app background behaviour in android's native battery optimization

Hi guys, tried the remapping app and followed the instructions but it's as if when I press the Jovi button it's not picking it up? I have fiddled around with the settings but no luck!

Hello, is there a way to make the button work when the phone is locked? I want to use it to pause my music.

If you want to pause the music you just need to activate the smart movement option and then draw a M with your finger when your screen is locked. You draw a M another time to resume the play

I wanted to let you know after 4 long months, had problems that the accessibility for the app, Buttons Remapper constantly reset 2 to 3 times a day randomly and the app don´t work after reset anymore since we don´t have root for this phone. i reached out to vivo support and told them my problem with accesibility reset, they said they need logs to check why this happend, i send them 3 times logs and they didn´t fix my problems.

Uninstalling com.vivo.pem had no effect, but after I also uninstalled the i manager app, I finally got the buttons remapper app working without any problems. 5 days now without a single accessibility reset, and no negativ effect for uninstalling i manager app. one little thing, Deleting this removes the traffic speed indicator in the notification bar it´s not a big deal for me since i don´t use this feature.

now i have finally remapped the jovi button to google assistant, camera( double click the jovi button), and dnd profiles(Jovi Button + Volume up) and i can use it proberly ,i can execute 3 actions with the jovi button. now i´m totally happy with this phone almost all chinese bloatsh....... deactivated. if you wanna test this please search for a i manager apk as a backup.

I've already removed iManager and vivo.pem, and still it looses the given permissions and stops working....any other tips or steps you migh have done??

I have never used that method to take screenshots, but is it necessary to disable it somwhere or something, or just don't use it?

if you don´t use this feature its probably disabled, you can finde in settings, screenshot.

you see i make 2 Screenshots the first one with the Hardware Buttons, Power + Volume Down the accessibility service works like it should right, you see in the screen record, but then i make the second screenshot a 3 finger gesture screenshot and that´s it the accessibility crashes, shuts down or what ever happend to the system and all the apps that uses this service don´t work anymore, but they showed as enabled.I need to restart my phone to get them work again.
i can make 100, 3 finger gestures screenshot and 100 times the same happend.
so it´s very strange and for every user different, i don´t get it!
and since i don´t use the 3 finger gesture anymore, i don´t have accessibility shutdowns anymore and i can use every app that uses that service.
