I think i bricked my sensation!!! help!!!!!

first off all I've tried a lot of different guides to try to unbricket .. basically what i did was htcdev unlock bootloader and then flashed recovery. no s-off. then i stupidly flashed a rom and i can't get no farther than the htc boot screen. I've tried many ruu's and pg58img.zip's but none work. any help. also i did not supercid

Did you flash the correct firmware for the rom? Ics Roms take 3.32 firmware .

yes even recovery. but nothing i flash works. it either gives me an error on the recovery or just stays in the htc bootscreen.

First give me the complete hboot details

Then with device connected in fastboot to pc post the complete output of this(except imei and serial number)

fastboot getvar all

You may have lost your boot.IMG and you will have to extract it from the zip file and when thats done open the folder that was extracted and go to the kernel folder and copy the boot.IMG into the same folder that you have your adb and fastboot driver's in and then open cms and typ your commands to get your fastboot working and then typ fastboot flash boot boot.img let it flash and then typ fastboot reboot

He can't upgrade the firmware except doing via RUU way.. But doing RUU way.. He will lose the golden opportunity to SOFF using revolutionary way and he has to use juopunutBear which is bit harder

Also flashing a boot.img won't do any good.. As he might have flashed the ics rom.. Which won't work with gb firmware...

So the best option for him is to flash the gb rom (if anyone got one post the link here) via recovery(smartflash should be enabled)

Then boot up... Do soff via revolutionary.. Then firmware.. Then rom

That's the best way for him

hey you erased info version-main ..i want that too

also from post #13 download the rom
and flash it via recovery

flashing steps (assuming you have 4EXT)

1. 4EXT->wipe|format->format all partitions except sdcard
2. 4EXT->tools->enable smart flash
3.4EXT->install form sdcard ...and flash the rom

then try to boot up and see

first. i couldent download the rom in post 13 because the links are broken. second i tried another gb rom and it didn't work. remember s-on no root no boot. just htc dev unlock bootloader and recovery
