some copy paste skill.

Method 1: Fix OEM Unlock by changing the Date

This method can be helpful if your device is new and The OEM unlock is missing from the developer options. All you need to do is turn off the automatic date and set an older date. To know how you can do it, follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Head over to the settings menu on your Samsung device.

Step 2: Scroll to the general management settings. Click to open it.

Step 3: Now click on the date and time option.

Step 4: Within the date and time section, click on the automatic date and time to turn it off.

extra skill improvement.

Step 5: Now manually set the date and time to an older date and time from today.

Step 6: Head back to the main settings and then go to the ‘About Phone option. Under this section, click on the software information.

Step 7: Tap 7 times on the build number to enable the developer options.

Step 8: Now, open the developer options on your Samsung device.

Step 9: Find the ‘auto-update system’ option and disable it.

Step 10: No head over to the Settings menu. Click on the software update and disable the auto-download over Wi-Fi option.

Step 11: Once you’ve completed all the steps mentioned above, reboot your device.

Step 12: Now, go to the developer options and look for the OEM unlock option.
This was one of the easiest ways to fix the missing OEM unlock developer options on your Samsung device. In case it did not work out for you, head over to the next method.

Okay I changed the date to 2020 and am now restarting to see what's going on.

Sorry Nimueh,

I linked you the XDA Magisk threads in my last post so you'd read them ... if your device has a custom recovery then you flash Magisk in it, if not then you have to manually patch + flash the boot image of your rom.

Check the Magisk subforum here on XDA, if you can't find your answer there then those good folks are much better at answering your questions ;)

Or simply use ADB App Control if your only reason for rooting is to remove/disable unwanted apps. It can do it without root, easily and with a GUI over ADB.

Thanks all, but my Files app says my internal storage is full of 13.44 GB.

When i look at the folders availabe for me, they don't come close to 13.44GB. Why am I running out of room?

Edit: When I open Files app, it says i'm only using 1.2 GB. Where is the rest of the 12GB?

Try to look in the storage section in settings. you are not counting firmware, necessary software, etc.
