I317m - on Freedom mobile (formally WIND) AWS bands. Getting LTE to work.

Anyone still listening here?

I am still using my I317m - I like it just fine, using a rom called SLIMFAST 4.4.

I am trying to get it to work with FREEDOM mobile LTE services. They say this phone is compatible.

I have never been able to connect. No idea if its APN settings? something with the phone because of the ROM?

Anyone here doing this? got it working??

I'm not sure where you are located but the Freedom networks runs on AWS and the sgh-i317m has never supported AWS frequencies out of the box. You will need to modify the baseband to enable use on Freedom. Even with the mod, you may not get LTE.

Oh thanks, this part I fixed.. it was fixing this.. that messed up my GPS in the other thread.
