I was able to successfully download through goo.im and I flashed the file via the version of Philz Touch that I had already installed. When I reboot into recovery the info at the bottom says:I just noticed v6.19.3-i605 with a modification date of today is showing in the i605 directory...
I'm having some difficuly downloading though.. goo.im is syncing servers
Yes he just forgot to change the build number it looks likeI was able to successfully download through goo.im and I flashed the file via the version of Philz Touch that I had already installed. When I reboot into recovery the info at the bottom says:
Philz Touch 6.19.2
Clockwordmod v6.0.4.7
Just wondering if this is correct since the file name indicates that the version is 6.19.3
I also have that version and have no problems at all with this recovery. I performed a "clean wipe to install new rom" and it worked perfectly.I grabbed the version from 3.29 for the i605(note 2), flashed through odin, and while I was able to install and run, it was unable to do either the factory reset or the "Clean" wipe. it would sit on "format data" for a minute then reboot into the existing ROM, which while not "reset" was definitely a mess. Some apps were still there, many showed in download, but were broken.
ROM: JellyWiz 4.3 based
Switched back to TWRP 2.7 and it was able to factory reset just fine.
Not complaining, just an FYI to others.

No problems with 6.26.6 on my verizon note ii. It does give a rather alarming warning when I quit philz: says root perms may be messed up. Turns out they aren't messed up (the error is in the perms checking routine), and whether you choose "Yes, fix 'em" or "No" it performs just fine. The error is evidently fixed in 6.29.2, but there isn't a precompiled zip of that for our phones. Here's part of the change log for 6.29.2 (26.04.2014):I've tried 6.26.6 and =formatted but it would sit for a minute and reboot
I managed to figure it out. It seems that all it took was formatting my internal memory. After that everything was good to go.No problems with 6.26.6 on my verizon note ii. - fix potential bug when verifying root and recovery state on exit
- merge "Fix verify_root_and_recovery menu selections":
Hopefully philz will offer us i605 users a precompiled zip for that (or, better yet, the most recent version) soon![]()

It's all that porn you downloaded last week. Did you forget? JkIt's been a while, anyone having problems with this version?
On a related note, I'm seeing backups from the previous Philz Touch recovery at 3.8GB which seems .... HUGE to me. That normal? I'd swear it was in the 1.2GB range for forever...
Anyone else having issues with this recovery?Just want to say THANK YOU, Phil for this awesome job!
Not seeing any of those problems. It works perfectly for me.Anyone else having issues with this recovery?
Either backing up to the normal SD card or my External SD card in the backup and recovery options leave PhilZ to freeze for five seconds or so, let the screen go black, then just take me back to the menu.
I can't seem to make this thing do a backup. Strange?
MJ9 stock-based ROM and firmware (properly rooted, etc)
Edit: it's more like 7 seconds, then nothing happens.
Do I need to format my sdcard and external sdcard as a certain format? My external is fat32.
I just don't want to make the move to 4.4.2 without doing a backup!
Edit2:
So I installed the latest normal CWM Touch, and was able to do a backup.
When I went to Wipe Data, the screen hangs for several minutes, and the phone spontaneously reboots into Recovery again, with no warning or record of what happened.
I go flash Phil's again (since I'm satisfied with backup), and normal /sdcard/ has a few weird folders in it now and a /0/ directory with all of what the internal storage USED to have. Strange? I flash PhilZ, boot into PhilZ, and wipe data..
Same thing. It hangs and reboots into recovery again. I boot into normal system to verify that data was wiped (it seemed to be), so I went and flashed the new ROM and radio (4.4.2 stock rooted). Oddly, my Google account, and wi-fi hotspot information are still inputted into the phone. Not sure how I feel about it.
