I fail to find my SD Card adapter to write the img so I'll have to grab one tomorrow and attempt it. If anyone successfully downgrades please let us know though!

any updates on weather those of us that took the OTA for 4.3 are able to downgrade?

before I take the plunge and test this it would be nice to know if its possible or if its just going to waste time

i605 unbricker

after 7 days of working i develop unbricker for this phone !!!​

this unbricker can repair bricked i605 phone only!​

i repair my i605 phone wrongly flashed whit n7100 firmware.

i hope this info help meny people whit bricked phone and wrongly flashed too like me

instruction:
1. disassemble phone
2. find resistor located on picture
3. better make switch i use iphone home button
4. prepare sdcard (i use 2 gb sdcard and write with any know img writer. i use winhex to write img)
5. insert sdcard to phone and conect lcd
6. conect POWERED OFF phone to power supply
7. Short resistore (as i say before i use iphone home button)
8. Turn on the phone, and REMOVE THE SHORT between 3 to 6 seconds
9. After 5 seconds, you can see message on the LCD boot recovery was succeeded
10. assemble phone
11. u can full flash your phone

i followed your instructions, phone displayed that binary copy completed, but afterwards my SCH i605 won't boot, won't get into recovery mode neither into download mode. Please help !

there is no one who test downgrade. unbrick work u can see last post. downgrade no one test.
i dont know exynos cpu fused whit new bootloader or no. if it's not fused then u can downgrade.

I am currently on 100% stock 4.3, no root, locked bootloader. Should I brick before trying this or do you think it will work without bricking first?

Unbrick, the first file, not mj9,
from N7100 @ 4.3 i went to a fully unlocked i605 4.3 !!! i had the bad idea of reflashing after an error with CASUAL , now i'm stuck with a locked i605 @ 4.3, i don't know what happened exactly but thanks to the unbricker by Kobol i had an unlocked i605 bootloader @ 4.3, i ruined it, hopefully there will be a new unlock method. :good: :good:

when i brick phone i unbrick whit first unbricker and then flash pit whit VRALJB bootloader. then flash i605VRALJB full firmware. he doo same i hope

i had i605 @ 4.1.2 , i rooted it and unlocked it using CASUAL, after that i made the error of flashing it with N7100 @ 4.3 firmware, it worked but no Card SIM were detected since it's not the same modem, it won't accept i605's firmware neither its pit file, after a long struggle i've found Kobol's i605 unbrick method thank god !! i flashed using the i605 stock ROM @ 4.3 with it's PIT file and booom :fingers-crossed: ! i had my i605 fully unlocked @ 4.3 . after that i've tried to install a custom ROM, my attempts failed and my device softbricked after a CASUAL error, i reflashed, unfortunatly my system now is official and Locked @4.3 !! :crying:

if u use 4.2.1 unbricker why u install 4.3 rom whit pit? u need flash 4.2.1 rom after unbrick and u have unlocked boot and u can flash 4.3 stock rooted deodex room from recovery as i did. can u try downgrade boot ? u need doo same.

Not true. I could not jig my device it was dead. Would not start.
