i780 - Cannot operate camera with GPS

why is that? what about taking pics for GPS applications (such as Run.GPS)

its so annoying to stop the GPS and then take the picture!!

I have the same problem, tried something with te gps settings and this is the solution:

GPS - Original settings are GPD1 with COM9:4800 and checked auto managed.
Set to COM8 for programs and hardware at COM9:4800

Then the camera wil function properly

I have the same setting with you but can't use the camera when GPS running.

yep

you cannot take a picture once GPS is on - whilst in other phones its no issue

there is also something with alarms and GPS which get along together

go figure...

This really is lame, so no auto trace gps with cam options ;(
lame that samsung didnt fix this, these are small annoyances what would make me go to another brand phone.

I didnt find any solutions for this problem..

thyis and so many other issues on this phone

the most simple matter - there is no cable to do hot sync and charge together...go figure?
battery is so low when GPS runs, I cannot complere a singe bike trip with it
