just wanted to add, in case anyone was wondering, and I had not seen anyone post confirmation on this.

My Captivate was one of those that could not get into recovery mode nor download mode using any button combinations.

and I couldn't get the OTA update to install, so I used this rom.

now, I CAN get into recovery mode using button combinations. (vol up/down and power)

now, I CAN get into download mode by holding vol up/down while plugging in USB.

thanks DG, I'm feeling much safer now.

If this is true for everyone who had that issue then this is freakin amazing! I wonder what else is different from the leaked JH7 from weeks ago.

so if I have Voodoo b4 1.8 installed along with the mobileAP init.d, can I just install this over all of that after disabling voodoo?

ah your a lifesaver. could not get the damn OTA to go past 50% all day. thanks.

btw, just to confirm, this is stock everything inc. kernel right? just rooted?

edit: so first boot-gps took 30 seconds to lock. says its accurate to about 200meters. Well it showed me about 400 meters away from where I am. lol. then 30 seconds later, is accurate right on spot. shows me in my room. :D

If you look at page 2 of this thread you can see that a guy had a lagfix and he had to flash back to stock using odin. I would just disable voodoo then reflashing to stock JF6 then flashing this JH7 OTA

I had read in other posts that the OTA update was fixing the button combinations.
That's why I tried this.
I hope it works for everyone.

Thanks a lot! This worked for me (from stock JF6 w/ minimalist mod, root). Now I can get locks faster and in places that I couldn't before. Hopefully the rest of the GPS works just as well.

Thanks for your hardwork DG and also other contributing members in this community who gave their stock update image!

1)Can this be flashed over Cognition with Rom Manager after disabling voodoo?

2)Will Cognition be updated with this new OTA JH7 instead of the leaked one?

3)People who are stating that this OTA JH7 now fixes the 3 button recovery/download issue... is this embedded deep enough where if someone were to flash a totally different ROM in the future, will the 3 button issue still be fixed?

I would really appreciate this

This is really amazing work man, we all appreciate here. I just wanted to ask one big favor. If someone could put up the QR for this that would be awesome. I'm a total noob and am not comfortable flasing this on my own. Thanks again

This is my first time flashing a rom through clockwork, there's no point in doing anything like doing odin one click back to stock jf6 or anything first right, this just completely replaces everything?

Could you post more detailed instructions on this please?

I downloaded JH7, renamed it to "update", and attempted to update it from ROM Manager as well as Clockwork. Neither attempt changed my baseband version upon booting.

Question, I'm flashing now and it's at the "installing update....." stage..... how long does it usually stay here? The progress bar isn't moving. It did this before, then I flashed with Odin3 and it's doing the same thing
