The Kali NetHunter is an Android penetration testing platform targeted towards Nexus and OnePlus devices built on top of Kali Linux, which includes some special and unique features. Of course, you have all the usual Kali tools in NetHunter as well as the ability to get a full VNC session from your phone to a graphical Kali chroot, however the strength of NetHunter does not end there. We've incorporated some amazing features into the NetHunter OS which are both powerful and unique. From pre-programmed HID Keyboard (Teensy) attacks, to BadUSB Man In The Middle attacks, to one-click MANA Evil Access Point setups, access to the Offensive Security Exploit Database... And yes, NetHunter natively supports wireless 802.11 frame injection with a variety of supported USB NICs.

Is Kali NetHunter an Android ROM?

Kali Linux NetHunter is not a ROM but is meant to be installed over an existing stock/factory image of Android. It can also be installed over some Cyanogenmod based ROMs depending on device support. It is heavily based on using custom kernels and only supports a select number of devices. We're relying on you, the community, to port your devices for the full Kali NetHunter experience.

Note: I uploaded 2 files, one contains minimal chroot and the other contains full chroot.


Note2:These zips are universal and can be flashed on every single device with TWRP Recovery installed.


Note3: It can be flashed even on Lollipop,Marshmallow roms.

Install instructions:
You must be on Kitkat and above.
Make sure you have TWRP Recovery Installed.
Download your prefered build, i use minimal chroot.
Take a backup in case if you regret it.
Flash it.
Enjoy!

Tested Devices:
S2 I9100
S2 I9105 (Thanks @anastasiszn )
it will work on every device with TWRP recovery.

Didn't work on Galaxy S2 Plus (OS 6.0.1).. It said that it was successfully installed, but it stuck at booting ..
PS: when I check " Zip signature verification " .. it comes to an error.

You install KK compatible recovery and go from there - TWRP recommended.

I got an " Error: Unable to extract! The zip may be corrupt or your device may not have enough RAM to proceed. Consider using a smaller installer if it is available. Aborting.... Failed to install Kali NetHunter! Updater process ended with ERROR: 1 Error installing zip file '/external_sd/Nethunter/nethunter-i9105-kitkat-kalifs-minimal-20160726_112031.zip' Updating partition details....... done. " while flashing using TWRP recovery (Device: Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus i9105).

I had the same issue in my s2vep, I just wiped everything and installed custom ROM, Google apps and the smaller version of Kali Nethunter provided in the link (about 130 MB of size I think). Now I've got their applications just as I get Google apps in my custom ROM.

This version of chroot is apparently not supported anymore. I had been keeping getting error 404 when trying to update metapackages. So I updated the chroot and since that I have been getting Fatal: kernel too old. Is it possible to fix? Thanks!
