i9195 Debloating, CWM and kernel

I have a stock i9195. I would like to get rid of the samsung useless bloatware.
I'd like to use this method:

I would like to leave everything else as stock as possible.
Root+CWM guide I'm thinking about using:

I don't care about root and don't need it. Can I flash ONLY cwm with kies and use the cwm script to delete bloat? or do I need to root it too?

The link you have on instructions to root+cwm is way outdated. Use the latest by the original developer here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43622999

Not too sure about the debloating steps though.
