Optimization - When sending a contact's namecard, you can choose "My profile" (3-25)
Fix - When adding an unknown number to contacts, if the number was too long it couldn't be added (3-24)
Fix - When accessing Contracts from the Home screen, there was an issue with the screen transition (3-24)
Fix - Sometimes, the Settings button in the Contacts menu wouldn't respond (3-24)
Fix - Sending a namecard to merged contacts might create duplicate cards (3-24)
Fix - Sometimes contacts would fail to import from SIM card (3-24)
Fix - When exporting contacts, notification display was truncated (3-24)
Fix - When entering the dialpad from other apps, no location was displayed (3-24)

NOTE: I HAVE UPDATED OTA FROM ANOTHER SOURCE THATS WHY THE SIZE IS LARGE IN OVER 240MB. BUT IT WORKS!

What's Miui?
MIUI (pronounced "Me You I", a play on the common abbreviation of the words user interface as UI), developed by Xiaomi Tech, is an aftermarket firmware for smartphones and tablet computers based on the open-source Android operating system. It features a heavily modified and hard-coded user interface that does away with the Android app drawer and has drawn comparisons with Apple's iOS and Samsung's TouchWiz UI. The Custom ROM includes additional functionality not found in stock Android, including a theme-able user interface, new music, gallery, and camera apps, and an alarm clock that rings even if the device is turned off.​

Flashing Procedure:

Using any Custom recovery:

1) Download the Full rom and subsequent OTA's
2) Backup you ROM
3) Wipe data & all caches
4) Wipe preload & system
5) Flash Downloaded ROM and OTAS
6) Flash Gapps
7) Reboot.

TORCH/FLASH- to fix torch bug you can just flash this kernel
Thanks to@core720 for his amazing kernel! Remember Folks this will make the default Flash/torch app dysfunctional so you would need to download any other app from play store.

So I was asking about installing super su.....
I got it working by installing it as an system apk and then updating the binary

I needed super su because according to me the auto hibernation feature of greenify wasn't working with the normal root app present in miui
After installing supersu I disabled the permissions manager and everything now works fine

I see,well i am using Greenify that too without Any super su and auto hibernation is working perfectly! you had make sure you had Latest WSM tools which is port of Exposed for MIUI and greenify module.

Just need to enable the show pop up option of the app after that it will work fine

"warez free" means that MIUI Market was removed.

I don't know if it's multi-language...

its same as official version but withou miui market as jclarel said.

about muti-language .....it just have option for chinese and english. I dont think two or three languages count as multi-language so no its not.

It seems that the torch bug is fixed in 4.3.14, provided that you use the stock theme.
Apparently, the bug occurs again if you change to a custom theme...

thanks....for me the idea of flashing miui rom is to have an ios style, so if this doesnt work with themes then its useless for me....

Why don't you wake the phone up with the power button instead of the home button? It's just a question of habit...
If you do that often, the torch bug will go unnoticed and you will be able to use the IOS theme that you want...

yeah i know what you mean and i did that couple of times but its hard not to press home button because thats what i was doing for about two years...first s2 and now s4....

thats realy strange, just to confirm I flashed both stock(default miui kernnel) the torch worked fine and then again flashed miui adam port kernnel (the one provided in second post) torch didnt work.

Make sure you flash and wipe cache and dalvik cache after wards.


actually we dont have an apk file for torch. the app you see in drawer is shortcut to torch fuction which is embedded in miuisystem/androidmanifest.xml. I will try to decompile and remove function and recompile it,though I think its that easy.

i didnt wipe anything after flashing the kernel, maybe thats the problem?? can you confirm that even at using themes its fixed....??
