Sorry for my very very bad English but I'm french...

With Beta same problem with the WIFI for me (and apparently only for me)... and I dont understand why...

installation :
HTC Desire HD EUROPE (french)
Radio 12.62.60.27U_26.13.04.19_M


Wipe cache + Wipe Dalvik cache + Wipe system

Install : ICS_LC_b1
Gapps : latest for ICS
SystemUI.apk from Criminal Build
Modified build.prop for DPI 240

No WIFI,


Then I've try :

Full Wipe 1.3

Install : ICS_LC_b2
Gapps : latest for ICS
ICS_apn_fix2
Modified build.prop for DPI 240

... No WIFI...,


Then :

Full Wipe 1.3 + Wipe cache + Wipe Dalvik cache + Wipe system + Wipe Data

Install : ICS_ace_beta1
Gapps : latest for ICS

and.... no WIFI Again...

I see that in my logs :

E/wpa_supplicant( 1594): ioctl[SIOCSIWPRIV] (cscan): -1
W/wpa_supplicant( 1594): eth0: Failed to initiate AP scan

If I do a Wipe Dalvik cache, I can see wifi, but cannot connect, and if I turn off/on wifi, I dont see wifi at all

Wifi works in all other roms (no ICS)

I moved my Inspire over to the beta today. Happy enough I'll keep it as my daily driver. I came from various MIUI ROMs to having to teach my fingers where things are a little bit.

Superuser FCs (known) -- SU works to allow apps perms, and there is a work around.
No Camera (known)
Animations seem a little jerky (known)

My data speeds are as fast as they have ever been. I did manually create two APNs http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1042553

SMS and MMS works normal

WiFi works great. The ICS Beta fixed my prior issue of WiFi staying off after the screen was unlocked.

GPS locked crazy fast.

Phone calls are great.

No issues with sound.

Volume buttons work again. I've had an issue for a while where I could not toggle my phone from vibrate to ringer via the volume buttons. That now works.

I don't care for the lock screen (personal choice)

Like the included email client for Exchange use.

When I flashed the ROM, I had issues with ROM Manager not working. I needed to reboot into recovery to run fix permissions. After a few reboots everything seemed to work as expected. No current issues.

Just try for my wifi (I can use advanced configuration for a specific SSID to set a static IP, thats new), same problem, no connexion, my DHD dont try to connect to my WIFI (same problem with 3 different wifi)

WiFi and Data (3G) is working fine. Manage to install and run
1) Whatsapp (OK)
2) Facebook (OK but can't sync the contact thought, no such option)
3) Friendcaster (FC)
4) Seesmic (OK)
5) Titanium backup (OK butcan't restore app thought, it shows OK but you can't find the app even you restore just the app itself)
6) Talkbox (OK)
7) Google reader (OK)
8) Quickpic (OK)

YouTube needs hardware acceleration for the video to work.

if your getting a bootloop, pull your battery and try again once its back in.

Just flashed it to my "company desire hd"

as far as i can tell now it works like a charm, touchdown email works, wlan, 3g, teamviewer....

let's see if i find any more bugs ;-D

I think i found the solution for usb storage on pc with usb. Just finish installing dual mount sd widget apps, enable its widget, and voila, my pc can recognize the usb storage on sd card.

Fix for usb storage, buy dual mount usb apps from the market, install, and now usb storage works..
