Good news!
However this verson worked very well for me I am happy to hear more improvements and bugfixes.

To flash the new version is it enough to wipe cache and dalvik or data clear recommended?

For the next version will update the tutorial.

If your original rom is either 2.1 or 2.2 begin at step 1.
If you already have installed a custom rom either CM7, ginger, or any other miui skip to step 3.
If your intention is to update your rom-ICS-MIUI DSJ begin at step 3 and skip to step 3.4A (3.4A to skip Please note only).

Currently I am on stock Froyo (SEA 15: Kernel=2.6.32.9)

So do I have to start from step one, or can I directly start from step 2?

Before going for this should I take nandroid backup of my Froyo for downgrade ability? I already have a .sbf file for the same....

(How is gaming performance on this? Does it have Chainfire 3D drivers?)

Changes in the system in order to get more speed, stability and battery saving.
Improved script installation/update that now dispenses the wipe Dalvik and cache before and after installation, or just install the file and automatically at the end of the installation will be done wipe Dalvik and cache and the system will reboot itself.

When do you plan to release the next version today?

For stock rom begin in step one.
Cap. America and need for speed is ok.

wifi tethering working. and extra bonuses, it also comes with defy baseband switcher, one percent battery indication, and no nandroid backup problem like the galnet

Is the menu led dimming permanent (could be caused due to extra voltage to it?) or just for the rom? Any patch to get all four led-buttons working?
