[ICS][PORT] Xperia Z1 Media Apps for MDPI [7-11-2013]

its simple i ve used an updater-script of another zip as base and since i ve not faced any issue using it....

Yeah, that's what I thought. The honami-rom. I edited that one to symlink to busybox instead. And to create all the symlinks to various commands built in to busybox so I could use the shell properly. I.e. coloured ls and finally being able to cp.

-.- Really? Hasn't it been obvious so far? It works on your phone because you symlink all your commands to toolbox in your rom. It overwrites all (well, all the important ones to me) the commands symlinked from busybox in other roms.
Now, unless there is a NEED for the symlinking in the updater-script, then why not just remove it? I've been asking for the NEED for those symlinks. No, "it just works", is not a need. -.-

you are right xD
if it causes problem to you then simply edit the script as you wish ( reading your post seems that you have more clue than me )

but until someone else will report problem i will no update ( or at least not now )

And that was why I asked. Is the symlinking to toolbox important? No? Yes?
Simple answer is, they're just left overs and aren't important at all. Actually they shouldn't be in there.

Someone did complain about it being there: me. What you are saying is, "you know more than me, it is causing problems to you, but I don't give a s**t". Thank you... -.-

Ah, ok.
If you want to try something I can give you a suggestion (in pm) on this whole toolbox/busybox-thing. It'll explain why I reacted.

Bro... we should thank Alex_rac for this not me he ported it first and lets see bro... if time persists we will give it a try in adding the movies and album at present later we will add the walkman when we feel there is a fix to it

I don't like pre-activated clearphase and cloud.

you can enable and disable it by your own and there is no such issue with clearphase they are NOT pre-activated!

i got fc for each of them (walkman,movie and album) when i installed the zip.I have also checked that i am running on superuser mod.Please tell me what i am doing wrong.My mobile is Live with walkman.Please,i want this new walkman and movie app working.

Update:- i have gone to any photo and video through file manager and opened it with the album and movie app ,then they are running and playing fine but i can't open them directly through app.They always force close.
But walkman won't even work on with manual song playback.

Your port has given me hope that finally can have a working clearphase which was not possible before.Hope you can help me.

did you mod your services.jar propely for the superuser mod or did you download the services.jar from any where?

Bro i have tried to open the services.jar and i have found that it is already in the proper form(xuperuser mod) .

see for a stock rom superuser mod is not enabled by default.. try to copy and paste your services.jar from system/framework and mod your services again..

after this is done properly!! then try to install the ports by clearing data and clearing dalvik cache

many stock rom users said that its working fine... check the previous posts once

i think you did something wrong the aroma comes pre-ticked with walkman,albums and movies to be installed. i think you un-ticked it try ticking back the walkman and install it again it will work
