i think you did something wrong the aroma comes pre-ticked with walkman,albums and movies to be installed. i think you un-ticked it try ticking back the walkman and install it again it will work

i installed it 3-4 times and m sure walkman was ticked.... currently m manually installing walkman using ADB, and fixing permissions

I use LWW- stock ICS ROM with lupus v6 (i dont think its kernel problem)
EDIT:

even after manually installing using adb etc. the old walkman is persisting.
i checked the system/app , framework , etc , vendor and other directories , all files are present with right permissions

However when i click on the apks it installs in the phone then new walkman appears in the app drawer and works fine
but i dont want it that way, i want it to work just by flshing so that all the libs and framework work in correlation...

how could it be that way even after apps are present in the system/app the new walkman is not showing
the old semcmusic.apk is not there in the system/app then how that old walkman is even showing in the app drawer???

STRANGE... i think my phone is haunted by the old walkman LOL

In order for SemcMovies to fully work on mdpi you need to add drawable_mdpi on the res folder of the apk, and can you please also port imageprocessorpermission.apk and swiqimasterreset.apk for a fully working x- reality in ics, please and thank you!

First of all, thanks for the port, i know it was really hard to port them from Z1. But, when I install Walkman & Album & Movies in aroma, Walkman and Album are keeping FC-ing. Movies app is working. But when I install just the apks, all are working. Now why is that? Maybe SuperUser MOD isn't already in Z1 Honami ROM? I thought it is, but correct me, if I'm wrong!

Movies is fully working bro mdpi drawables are only making it faster (we kindly request the devs to resize the drawables to speed up the app and to save RAM - but do that only if you have some time, it's not as important, since these Z1 apps are faster then the previous versions). Also, X-reality is already ported to ics, and it's working (or what else do you mean by fully working?).

Well, first of all, thanks for porting this apps to ics. It must've taken a loong loong time to port this apps, but the zip file creates an error when I try to flash it in cmw and when I install everything manually I have a fc from movies and walkman app. Maybe it's not for 2012 xperia devices.

About the x-reality many ports only have only the 4 be files, and not all 6 that you can find in xperia z1 system dump. You can also see that swiqimasterreset.apk on those mods are not properly ported because with even the superuser mod it still says (error parsing package). The other thing you can see in the xperia z1 sys dump is imageprocessorpermission.apk that is required by the permission com.imageprocessorpermission.Sony so that it can activate image processing for x reality.

Can you also try to port white soundenhancement.apk for ics?

btw, did you know that for clearphase to fully work on ics you have to edit a bin file in xperia z, z1 that's called McDriverDaemonQc to make audio re-sampling compatible with ics hardware?

I've looked into it and Superuser mod is already in Z1 ROM, so it shouldn't be the problem. Then what to do? Is that normal that when I flash it in aroma it writes that he's flashing Walkman after that nothing is happening for 2-3 mins and after that it's finished?

This mod is not for Tipo, so don't flash it. But you can try extracting SemcAlbum.apk, SemcMusic.apk and SemcVideo.apk (and others) from zip and install them as normal apps or push them to system.

Yeah, it plays in portrait too, rotate your phone, and it'll play in landscape...
