Hi guys,
There was a good thread for the Sony Tablet S containing issues and work arounds - I wanted to do the same here for Xperia Tablet S.
After playing with it for a good two weeks now, there are a few things that I've found out and fixed through tweaking.
1) The first issue ofcourse is the creaking back on some devices, this is a confirmed issue by Sony [CONFIRMED]
2) WIFI drop after waking the Xperia Tablet S up after sleep has now been fixed by Sony in release 4 dated 21/09/2012 [FIXED]
3) Some of you may or may not agree, but another issue mentioned in most reviews is the internet browsers rendering. I've posted a few tweaks the which greatly improve the rendering times of the browser and overall experiance. On some bigger website, I'd find that scrolling down would cause the browser to slow down rendering of the page and also lose what's already been rendered - it doesn't fix it, but certainly helps to make the browser considerably smoother. [WORK AROUND]
In the browser, type about:debug, this will allow for a section of the browser settings to appear where you can tweak with some of the hidden settings of the app. Navigate to "Settings" and "Debug" - make your settings like mine:
I'm happy to add any others to the list that i've missed,
Thanks.
