But here lies the 3G bug. In us they don't have the 3G version sold so they didn't need to wait it to be fixed. In here that's the main reason

Well that might be true. But the claims is not really sound. I think there are a lot of countries that does not have 3G version of Tablet S, including my country (Thailand).

They can just roll out the non-3G version of tablet S first, which I think it's just a few people using it.

Google "adb for sony tablet s" and pick the Youtube video and follow instructions for installing the drivers. Download and run Condi's All-In-One (AIO) tool and select 'root', then do the same for 'change region' for US and when it reboots it'll ask you to update to ICS. Takes literally 5 mins.
