Many ICS ROMs out there, including the most recent "leaked" developments. Has anyone managed to get a lapdock to work?
Again, I am talking about lapdock not we top.

Using epinter CM10 (no leak) the lapdock works great. No ICS Roms with lapdock working yet. Many ICS ROMs out there, including the most recent "leaked" developments. Has anyone managed to get a lapdock to work?

Do you mean HDMI mirroring or actual Webtop 3 which is tablet mode on lapdock? Please confirm.Using epinter CM10 (no leak) the lapdock works great. No ICS Roms with lapdock working yet.

He's talking about HDMI mirroring. Currently WT3.0 doesn't work with lapdock.Do you mean HDMI mirroring or actual Webtop 3 which is tablet mode on lapdock? Please confirm.
I mean HDMI mirroring with tablet mode. Webtop 3 is just an automated tablet mode toggle which also runs the two screens with completely separate imagesDo you mean HDMI mirroring or actual Webtop 3 which is tablet mode on lapdock? Please confirm.
I know what you mean now. The dpi tweak.I mean HDMI mirroring with tablet mode. Webtop 3 is just an automated tablet mode toggle which also runs the two screens with completely separate images

The main advantage of Webtop 3 is that the UI toggle is automated, the HDMI and LCD display output images independently and the HDMI output is not a mirror (i.e. no pixel mapping / stretching). Check out the tutorial. This is our most reliable tablet UI experience to date.I know what you mean now. The dpi tweak.
I can't believe we are so close and far away with leaked ROMs though.
I will do that. How are you doing with dissecting leaked webtop/labdock ?The main advantage of Webtop 3 is that the UI toggle is automated, the HDMI and LCD display output images independently and the HDMI output is not a mirror (i.e. no pixel mapping / stretching). Ginger webtop is a totally different animal so not much there IMO. Regarding progress on the overall solution, I continue to find useful puzzle pieces and methods to improve life for the Atrix 4G user, but not a like-for-like Webtop 3, i.e. tablet UI without need for reboot.I will do that. How are you doing with dissecting leaked webtop/labdock ?
I ma tempted to compare to compare portal.apks from leaked rom with OEM ginger.
The problem is that the resolution doesn't change with the DPI tweak, whereas Webtop 3.0 dynamically changes both DPI and resolution when plugging an HDMI cable. Usuing the lapdock with the DPI tweak is still an HDMI mirroring with a poor resolution. The main advantage of Webtop 3 is that the UI toggle is automated, the HDMI and LCD display output images independently and the HDMI output is not a mirror (i.e. no pixel mapping / stretching). Yes, there is much work to be done to either: a) perfect Webtop 3 on Atrix 4G b) perfect a like-for-like solution. The problem is that the resolution doesn't change with the DPI tweak, whereas Webtop 3.0 dynamically changes both DPI and resolution when plugging an HDMI cable.
