I tried the lighter method on my sim and crazy glued it to a 64gb sd card. works. tight fit though. not going to be pulling it in and out too much because I can see how it could mess up the tray slot.

It would be best to test the process on a old, discarded SIM and a small capacity MicroSD card. The procedure to remove the SIM from the plastic is the best approach since we can easily get a replacement SIM.
A Nail-file will easily remove some of the material off the MicroSD card. This is must to ensure the fit isn't too tight. After all, we are trying to force two objects on top of each other, inside a slot designed to take just one & that too snugly.
The Phone may give an error about the old SIM, but it means the hack works

Just to let you know, I've did it...Tip...when using fire....put sim card on top of alu-foil, so you wont burn ur sim. Use it for VERY short time...fire burns that sim plastic very fast. After removing sim chip I've cut it from both sides, just a bit.
REMEMBER (take a picture) how sim stands in the slot. After all that (took about 10 min :)), I've sandpaper my SD card just a bit...BE VERY CAREFULL, that plastic is thin, just a bit sandpaper...put super glue....that's it.
Hardest part is to put it in phone...It takes a bit power to push it in...gentle-power :D

CRAP: suddenly phone said...sd card was removed...
I've open try reenter card 2 times...both times sim works, sd not...maybe sanding it wasn't good idea.
