Unless there was full encryption, EVERYTHING will be found. Deleted files, texts, everything. If encryption was used, they still have a pretty good shot at cracking the password, especially since the software to encrypt the disk/flash is open source (Android). So, even with encryption, it's easily vulnerable to reverse engineering, since they have the source code.
