If Firmware Finder says Approved,am I safe to install?

I am currently on VKY-L29C185B171 and I see that I am approved (with IMEI) for a FullOTA update to B173, however in the stock System Update page it says there are no updates. Is there anything special that I have to do? I cannot/do not want to brick my device! Thank you everyone!

I took the chance and got the newest one that it said i was approved for B173 and it installed fine! thank you!

Which file you choose and how did you do the update?

I found I had to do choose updates one step at a time, but after 5 or 6 rounds I managed to get onto Oreo on an unlocked UK phone. Each time I have chosen a full update. I started on rev 120 something, got to 185 before I could update to oreo.

I think I got to B172 on my L29-C636. Finally this morning FF said my IMEI was approved for Oreo, installed perfectly.

I am on B172 but my phone was single SIM now Dual SIM via FunkyHuawei - Oreo L29C636B360 says OK to install without IMEI and not OK with IMEI - but i reckon the Huawei servers still think my phone is Single SIM and so say not OK?

OK I just checked and I'm in the and situation. My phone is not re branded as I bought it brand new.
