I'm screwed right?

So I check my xperia z for updates and see that there is one for the system, but I need to connect it to the PC to do it.

Funny thing is, my USB port is broken(I use a external charger to charge through dock connector).

So how am I going to update this thing if I can't even do that? My PC has Bluetooth but doubt that helps. Maybe someone will upload a version of the update so I can do it straight from the phone?

Or maybe I'll just buy the Z3 eventually.

You Can update with Recovery

If you have Cmw or twrp you can update you phone with flashble zip

Actually I updated my ladies Z over the air. It stated to connect to PC and when she couldnt get it working on her laptop for whatever reason I went back into the update, placed it on a charger and started the download.

Of course I am assuming everyone is discussing the same update? I believe hers came through (tmobile) about three weeks or so ago..

I think Bast Thing Is Rapair the USB PORT..!!

so Please Replace the USB PORT..!!

Winded up using a piece or wire and shoved it in the usb port then used a usb cored. Worked okay
