This thread may be pretty much dead but I thought I'd at least share this for anyone who wants to play around

Hey thanks for the wiki.... But as an android user I've never had an iPhone to jailbreak. I have an ipad 2....would that work? I'm assuming yes but I figured I'd ask. It's reaching the end of its usable life so this would be a decent hack and use for it. Most family members I've been able to convert to hangouts... But many non tech savy ones don't even understand that imessage is separate from actual sms so I'm losing the battle on that one.

I just wanted to give this thread some life again... I was interested in something like this... has there been any development of any kind by anyone with a project similar to this? It's an outstanding idea, someone must have made progress by now.

I am very interested in this. I think this will pretty much give me the only thing iOS has that android doesn't have. I have been looking for this for a long time. Setting up Mac os in VMware? No problem

Setting up an Apple native resourcing application requiring constant verification, certification, and relaying to and from their servers to your android phone.

Oh yeah, that's probably not a problem either.
Not.

‘iMessage’: iMessage is instant messaging service designed & developed by Apple Inc. iMessage functions exclusively on Apple platforms like macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and WatchOS. iMessage also allows you to share a location or live location from iMessage app to your contacts/friends with ease. you can share live location via iMessage to invite someone on your location without any location problem.
Before performing Send location in imessage, you will need to follow some pre-requisites like you will need to enable some options/settings in your device, and then you will be eligible to perform location sharing operation.
I read about it on 'https://techsmagic.com/how-to-send-location-in-imessage-steps page on the web and this page detailing it. Here is step.

Method 1: Pre-requisites for sharing live location on your iPhone

Step 1: Make sure ‘Share My Location’ feature is enabled in ‘Find My Settings’ on device

To do so, you need to open ‘Settings’ app and go to ‘Apple ID > Find My’ and toggle ON ‘Share My Location’ option

Step 2: Make sure iMessage app has access to your location

To do so, you need to open ‘Settings’ app and go to ‘Privacy > Location Services > Messages’ and allow location access for iMessage

Method 2: Send location in imessage – a real-time location

Step 1: Open ‘iMessage’ app in your phone and select the preferred conversation thread

Step 2: Tap ‘Name of the person’ at the top and tap ‘Share My Location’ option on contact details page

Step 3: You have three options to choose from:

  • Share for One Hour: Choose it to share your live location for one hour.
  • Share Until End of Day: Select it to share your live location with your friend until the end of the day.
  • Share Indefinitely: Choose it to share your location with your friend without any limits. The contact will see your real-time location until you turn it back off manually.
Step 4: Select the duration you are most comfortable with. In this end, also make sure to tap ‘Done’ at top-right corner and it’s done.

Hello everyone!!! I have currently been working on iMessage for Android. However the use of a Mac OSX computer is necessary or you can use a virtual machine. I need a android developer for the app, shell scriptors, and Xcode developers.

If you would like to help shoot me a PM and reply to the post.

If you are just interested post in the forum to show your support.

Right now I can currently send iMessage messages via terminal.

Can we just stop resurrecting this thread. There is nothing to test. The guy has never shown any proof of anything.

of course I have read about this new android app, however it should be obvious to most people that this is a scam.. Apples support is probably beeing bombared right now by people who stepped into this trap.

What I definitely know by now is that any standalone application that wishes to use iMessage needs either a Certificate or Serialnumber given out by apple.

So presumably you will need to have some kind of apple device to use the standalone app.

However it would be nice to know how the servers in China get the apple servers into believing that there's a Mac Mini trying to send an iMessage. I doubt that they actually bought a few dozen mac minis.

    Regards,
