Implementing BCMON on Verizon Galaxy S5 kitkat?

For those of us who don't speak your language, what's BCMON? lol
Lol I don't know if I know exactly but it is the companion apk you use with reaver to Crack WPA. BCMON apparently configures your wlan and sets it to monitor mode. I can't successfully run it on my galaxy s5 or nexus 7 2013
