Importing a Registry Edit

So I downloaded Cookies Hometab 1.8 and I am getting the Version Mismatch Error. So I downloaded the registry fix and they say you just need to import it. Well when I click on it in total commander it says that there is no file associated with it that can be executed, and the PHM registry editor wont let me import anything. The import option is totally grayed out in my PHM editor. Any ideas!?!?! Thanks!!!

connect your phone to usb
open ceregistry editor
click edit - import
browse to the .reg file you downloaded from cookies and open it
if it warns that it might be a pc file, thats ok,
click through the confirmations
done.
