Do I flash this in recovery? I'm not understanding how to apply this. Thanks/
This is just a layout for Photoshop man. It basically gives you the guides so you can edit your own wallpaper knowing where the borders will be set once the wallpaper is applied to your Xoom.

No, this is not something you flash through recovery, It is just a tool for the people wanting to create their own custom wallpapers, without having to worry about whether a portion will be cut off or not due to the wallpaper layout on the xoom.

Hope this helps.

That sucks for me then. I've been trying to apply a wallpaper that's the Xooms resolution and its all stretched out.

Can someone here locate where the stock wallpapers are located so I can just drop my wallpapers in that directory and apply them fully?

You should download multipicture live wallpaper, a ton of people use this to get perfect wallpaper scaling including myself. You get it from the market, add a livewallpaper like you would normally do then select your image. It will fit it perfectly. I've been using it since launch, no problems here.

Also, sorry about posting that here, just thought id help

How to apply your template?

Thanks for all the help - this Xoom wallpaper thing has been vexing!

However, while I consider myself fluent in photoshop CS5, I cannot figure out how to apply your template for good results - I know the issue is on my end.

I opened your newest PSD template, threw an image (as a new layer) just to see how it would line up. Flattened image and saved as .jpg and get the same results as I always did - wallpaper that is too "zoomed in", low res.

Would you mind quick direction on the best way to get a finished image?

Thanks!

Multipicture is ok...but does anyone know the folder location of the stock wallpapers? Multipicture is a little jerky when switching screens and I'd rather put my pics in the same location of the stock wallpapers so I can just set them.

Test my wallpaper?

Hello, my name is Jeannie and I admin for Tehkseven. You can Google that, as I can't yet post links. We host free mobile downloads and are wanting to add Xoom to our galleries. However, we want to be sure we are getting the proportions correct. I've adapted your template to maintain the focal point in the center, but not lose resolution when zoomed. Could you guys please test it for me? It's a very simple Doctor Who wallpaper, but I could do something more detailed for you to test if you like. As well I am adding my adapted template so you guys can try your own to test.

Thanks so much!

As well, we take requests over there, so if the template works and you want something specific, just say the word!
