I'm stuck in blue recovery again and can't get out of it. I wanted to open the Infuse Toolkit, which I loaded to my internal SD, but when I looked for the file, it wasn't there. I wanted to open the toolkit to switch to a GB kernel, and thus download a GB ROM. The ICS ROMs really don't suit my Infuse... for now. I honestly didn't think I would be in this situation again, but, alas, here I am.

Have you tried Odin/heimdal? Do you have any roms at all in internal storage you can flash? What about downloading a rom on pc and then mounting USB storage under "mounts and storage" and then copying the rom to the phone and flash that?

GAPY, this is becoming a weekly thing for you. :p

Can you help us out by posting your recurring problem in one thread, like this one that you started earlier this month?:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1749817

Posting new threads each time will cause us to have to start over each time learning the history of your issues.

Having been on your phone in a remote tech support session several weeks back, I know that for whatever reason, you personally need to go to "mounts and storage" in recovery and choose mount sdcard. Then go back, and choose install from zip, choose zip from sdcard, and flash.

If you're still in a bind tomorrow, I might be available then to get on your PC to get you back on GB.

The original thread was started in the Development section, but the moderator thought it should be in the General section.

You're correct that you've also posted this issue in the development section. No doubt, it doesn't belong there. However, the link that I posted in this thread is another thread you started when you had the same issue several weeks back. You posted that one in the general section. Point being: It would be helpful if you would keep it to one thread - preferably here in General or in Q&A. By the way, the answers are still the same as they were in all of the prior threads.

So, have you mounted /sdcard and flashed a Gingerbread rom yet?

This is the problem I have. I try mounting the sdcard, but it doesn't mount the internal. I get the menu for the external card.

Let's clarify something (again): There are two choices in the install from zip menu - something like "choose zip from sdcard" and another like "choose zip from internal sd card". Can you tell us the exact name of the menu you are choosing to get to your internal card?

Is there any chance that you've chosen "format sdcard" instead of "mount sdcard" in mounts and storage, because that would surely get rid of all of the files on the sdcard. I don't know, though, best I can offer is to try to help you out in another session on https://join.me

Let me know tomorrow if you still need help. I'm trying to wrap up a project for a class tonight.

If you could help out again, that would be great. I'll be around tonight, so let me know. Thanks. ;)

This one's resolved. For those scratching their head over this, he just needed to mount /sdcard in recovery. Once that was done, he was able to flash what he wanted.

Trusting that you're joking Pony. In case you aren't though, you had best Heimdall one-click yourself out of that mess. ;)

No really, if you need help, let us know. :D
