Question In theory, is it possible to get rid of a/b partition table?

In theory, yes. In any case, this would mean that the highest version of Android 8 would be installed. Higher versions of Android require at least virtual A/B slots.

Previous devices did not have dynamic partitions and a/b slots, but even the 11 version of android worked fine. In short, what are virtual a/b slots?
