In your opinion, is the OP6T an upgrade?

I got a 6T because Google isn't offering enough storage. Oxygen has the gesture enhancements Google needs. The 6t is weak in camera, speaker and screen and much better in battery, storage, charging. Fingerprint is slower but I like it on the front more.

It's worth upgrading if you can trade the best camera for the best OS and battery.

Screen is way better like straight away i noticed it
Plus it's fast no doubt
Camera is good but with gcam mod you got the same pixel camera so there is that
Plus the battery is a upgrade
Design is way better lol
Cheers

Really think the op6t has the better screen?

1080p vs 2k?

Interested to hear more.

I had a oneplus 6 before switching to pixel 2 XL and this pixel is a class above.

And in my honest opinion this 6t is a downgrade from the oneplus 6 , maybe not in the battery department but overall.

No LED
Tiny speakers
And let me know how you guys feel about the two step fingerprint system.

I still have both phones and the one thing that keeps me going with the 6T is the maximized used of the screen area. The notch isn't very intrusive but can be turned off the right way. The gestures are a joy to use and maximize space. Since the screen is the primary thing you look at, it makes it hard to go back. I know the resolution is lower but honestly, the only time I"m watching 2k content is on Youtube and for me that's rare. Other video apps are at most 1080p anyway. 8GB ram is legit. My games aren't constantly loading. I can navigate from work to home and surprisingly my games are still loaded in memory unlike my pixel.

The primary things I miss from the Pixel XL 2

1) Definitely camera. OP6T isn't bad but color accuracy seems to be off on the oneplus
2) Always on Display. The is the one reason I upgraded from the Pixel XL to the XL 2 so this is a step backwards for me with the ONeplus
3) The feel of the phone. Pixel is ligther and easier to handle one handed AND the rear of the pixel doesn't pick up smudges like the OnePlus does
4) Front Facing speakers but the OnePlus is no slouch but I have a tendency to cover it up at times
5) Button placement. The power button on the OnePlus is horribly placed. Everytime I grip the phone I turn on the screen by accident.
6) Updates. It's only been a week and the tmobile variant of the Oneplus is already behind.
7) Fingerprint scanner on pixel is faster but the face unlock on the ONeplus is very impressive.
